About this program
The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) offers the Resident-in-Training Travel Scholarship to support early-career interventional and diagnostic radiology residents attending the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting. Awardees receive complimentary meeting registration, a $1,000 travel stipend, special recognition, dedicated programming, and networking opportunities. Applicants must be current PGY-1–4 IR or DR residents in the United States or Canada, current SIR members, and submit a CV, recommendation letter from a current SIR member, and required essays by October 20, 2026. Prior scholarship recipients, current or former RFS General Council members, and individuals invited to speak in specified SIR sessions are ineligible; recipients must also submit a 500-word post-meeting essay.
