Skin of Color Society Mentorship Program

About this program

The Skin of Color Society (SOCS) offers a one-year mentorship program connecting medical students, dermatology residents, and early-career dermatologists with approved experts in skin of color dermatology. The program supports professional development, research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking, with the next program beginning March 18, 2027. Mentees must be active SOCS members or have a completed membership application and be medical students, dermatology residents, fellows, or dermatologists who completed residency within the past three years. Mentors must be active SOCS members who are practicing dermatologists or dermatology residents; mentee applications are accepted through October 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. CT.
