About this program
The Francis Family Foundation’s Small Arts Grants Program supports arts and non-arts organizations that expand access to arts and culture and strengthen the greater Kansas City area as a creative regional hub. Grants range from $1,000 to $10,000 and may support eligible local arts programming or general operating needs. Applicants must be located within a 60-mile radius of Kansas City and be a 501(c)(3) public charity with an EIN or work through a fiscal sponsor; arts organizations must have annual revenues below $300,000, while non-arts organizations must offer community-based arts programs. Applications are due September 2, 2026, with decisions in November and awards issued in December 2026.
