Spencer Educational Foundation Internship Grants

About this program

The Spencer Educational Foundation offers employers internship grants of up to $7,500 to support experiential learning opportunities for students pursuing careers in risk management and insurance. Grants fund internships within an organization’s risk management function, with applications opening August 15, 2026, and due October 15, 2026. Eligible applicants must be practicing risk managers based in the United States, Canada, or Bermuda, and internships must last at least eight weeks, focus on meaningful risk management responsibilities, and limit administrative work to 25% of the intern’s time. Employers must select an intern within 90 days of approval, apply all funds to the internship experience, and submit required documentation and final reports.
