Division 31 sponsors the SPTA Diversity Award to recognize innovative, creative, and significant contributions by a State or Provincial Psychological Association that advance diversity among members, leadership, and the public. The award honors ongoing activities in membership, governance, leadership, and programming—examples include CE workshops on multicultural competence, community forums, targeted recruitment and leadership representation, mentoring programs, member education via publications, and new diversity-focused initiatives.
