About this program
The Sleep Research Society Foundation offers up to four one-year Career Development Awards of $50,000 each to support mentored, cutting-edge research on sleep, circadian rhythms, and related disorders, with the expectation that recipients pursue a subsequent federal research award. Applicants must hold a doctoral-level degree, be within 10 years of earning it, and be postdoctoral researchers, instructors, or assistant professors without tenure or more than $75,000 per year in PI/co-PI funding. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to sleep/circadian research, submit a mentor-supported application, and maintain active SRS membership; current or former recipients of federally funded career development awards are ineligible. Applications are due August 23, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time through Reviewr.
