About this program

The State Library of Ohio offers Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Open Grants to help libraries address specific community needs through innovative, new initiatives aligned with the State Library’s LSTA Five-Year Plan. Libraries may request up to $4,999 in federal funds, with no local match required; applications are accepted from July 1 through December 31, 2026, and reviewed on a rolling basis subject to funding availability. Eligible applicants are libraries proposing projects that are not existing operational expenses and must describe the community need, anticipated benefits, evaluation methods, and alignment with state LSTA goals.
