About this program
The West Virginia Science and Research Council, through the STaR Division, offers the STEM Fellows Grant Program to recruit and support outstanding PhD students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Cost-reimbursable block grants are awarded to institutions to provide at least 20 graduate fellowships, with an estimated two awards available. Eligible applicants are full-time faculty, deans, and academic administrators at West Virginia University and Marshall University. Funding is contingent on State of West Virginia Research Challenge Fund availability and Council approval; proposal and award dates are TBD.
