STFM Advocate Award

About this program

The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) Advocate Award recognizes members who demonstrate outstanding political advocacy at the local, state, or national level, including efforts beyond legislative work but excluding solely individual patient advocacy. Recipients receive a commemorative award and complimentary registration to the STFM Annual Spring Conference. Nominees and nominators must be STFM members, and nominees serving on the Academy Family Medicine Advocacy Committee are ineligible while serving. Nominations are due October 4 annually and must include an advocacy statement and materials, the nominee’s CV, and up to three optional letters of support.
