STFM Diversity Award

About this program

The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) Diversity Award honors a member who demonstrates innovative leadership and meaningful impact in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in family medicine education; the recipient receives a commemorative award and complimentary registration to the STFM Annual Spring Conference. Nominees must be STFM members and current members of the DEIA Committee are ineligible during their terms of service. Priority is given to faculty whose work supports underrepresented minorities, educates learners about diversity and equity, and demonstrates local, regional, or national impact. Nominations are due September 18 and must include a nominator statement, up to three support letters, a curriculum vitae, and representative work samples, if applicable.
