About this program
The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) offers the Excellence in Education Award to recognize members with sustained excellence in teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, research, or educational leadership at regional or national levels. Honorees receive a commemorative award and complimentary registration to the STFM Annual Spring Conference. Nominees must be STFM members, demonstrate recognized contributions at their home institution and broader regional or national impact, and may not serve on the STFM Nominations Committee. Nominations are due electronically by September 18 and must include a nominator’s statement, up to three support letters, the nominee’s STFM engagement list, and curriculum vitae.
