Stonewall Service Award

About this program

The Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) offers the Stonewall Service Award to acknowledge and celebrate members who have actively contributed to enhancing the experiences of sexual and gender minorities. This award, presented with a plaque at the CCCC Annual Convention, aims to recognize individuals' dedication to creating a more inclusive environment within the organization, the profession, and local communities.

Eligible applicants are CCCC/NCTE members with a proven track record of advocating for and improving the experiences of sexual and gender minorities. Nominations require at least three nominating letters or a single letter with multiple signatories, along with a comprehensive curriculum vitae, and must be submitted by November 1, 2025.
