About this program
The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) offers the Student Chapter of the Year Award to recognize outstanding student chapters’ participation in and contributions to ASIS&T and the advancement of information science. The award provides a certificate for the winning chapter and each member of its governing body. All ASIS&T student chapters in good standing are eligible, and chapters may self-nominate by submitting the Student Chapter Annual Activities Report, required criteria checklist, and supporting documentation through the Annual Report by September 1. A new nomination package is required each year, and winners are selected based on the submitted documentation.
