Student Research Training Award

About this program

The OMS Foundation’s Student Research Training Award provides up to $12,500 over two years to support programs that engage five students in biomedical, behavioral, or clinical research relevant to oral and maxillofacial surgery. Funds may support trainee stipends, research expenses, and travel, with applications due August 31, 2026. Eligible applicants are CODA-accredited dental schools and teaching hospitals with oral and maxillofacial surgery departments or divisions, adequate research facilities, and an established research program. The program director must be an OMS faculty member, an AAOMS fellow or member in good standing, an OMS Foundation donor, and an experienced researcher.
