Student Success Grants

About this program

The NEA Foundation’s Student Success Grants provide awards of up to $5,000 for 12-month projects that enhance public-school students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, cultural understanding, academic mastery, and real-world learning experiences. Funds may support materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, technology, and limited project-related professional development, but not salaries, indirect costs, or projects focused solely on student devices. Eligible applicants are current National Education Association members who are public-school or public higher-education teachers, education support professionals, or specialized instructional support personnel; administrators and current NEA Foundation grantees are ineligible. Applications are accepted June 15 through September 15, with registration required by September 10.
