About this program
The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) offers the annual Sukup Global Food Security Award to recognize innovative engineering or engineering applications that improve food production, distribution, storage, or handling. The recipient—an individual, group, or organization—receives a glass recognition item and a $1,000 prize. Nominations are open to anyone, and ASABE membership is not required; submissions must include the required materials and three to five support letters by October 31 annually.
