The British Machine Vision Association (BMVA) awards the annual Sullivan Doctoral Thesis Prize (£750) to recognize early-stage UK researchers in computer vision and related areas, with the prize presented at the BMVC conference dinner. Eligible candidates must have submitted their PhD thesis at a UK university between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026, and the thesis topic must fall within the scope of the current BMVC call for papers. Submissions (via CMT by 18 September 2026) must include a maximum two‑page structured summary of theoretical contributions and technical achievements, a digital copy of the completed thesis, and either an external examiner recommendation letter or both pre‑ and post‑viva reports evidencing the successful viva; the thesis must also be deposited in the institutional archive and any confidential materials require prior permission.
