Sulzberger Institute Grant

About this program

The American Academy of Dermatology’s Sulzberger Institute for Dermatologic Education offers grants for innovative education and technology initiatives that improve patient care, with particular interest in novel projects supporting dermatology education, shared decision-making, and practice tools. Seed grants provide up to $30,000 for one year, while small grants provide up to $5,000 for one year. Young dermatologists without significant prior extramural funding are preferred, and residents and fellows are encouraged to apply; commercial, for-profit organizations are ineligible, and investigators may submit only one application per cycle. Applicants must submit an online letter of intent by June 29, 2026, before being invited to submit a full proposal.
