About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the annual Surveying & Mapping Award to recognize an individual who has made a significant contribution to advancing surveying and mapping through teaching, writing, research, planning, design, construction, management, or notable service. The award includes a plaque and an honorarium, with joint efforts eligible for recognition. Nominees need not be ASCE members, but self-nominations and lobbying are prohibited; current members of the UESI Surveying & Geomatics Division Executive Committee are ineligible during their service. Nominations, due November 1, must include a signed cover letter, the nominee’s CV or biography, and up to three recommendation letters.
