About this program

Susan G. Komen offers Career Catalyst Research Grants to support promising early-career breast cancer researchers through up to three years of protected research time and mentorship. Awards provide up to $150,000 annually, or $450,000 total, for hypothesis-driven basic, translational, clinical, or population research aligned with Komen priorities. Applicants must hold or have an offer for a full-time faculty appointment by October 5, 2026, and must have held faculty appointments for no more than six years; institutional nomination is required, with a maximum of two nominees per institution. A Letter of Intent is due July 29, 2026, and invited applications are due October 5, 2026.
