Sylvia Lane Mentor Fellowship

About this program

The AAEA Trust’s Sylvia Lane Mentor Fellowship supports early-career women scholars researching food, agricultural, or natural resource issues through collaboration with an established expert at another university, institution, or firm. At least one fellowship of up to $2,500 will fund travel and other expenses for project-based mentoring during the 2026 calendar year, with preference for new mentoring relationships. Applicants must submit a mentorship plan, CV, research proposal, recommendation letter, mentor collaboration letter, and budget by October 12, 2026.
