About this program
The Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Guarantee Program, offered through Pennsylvania Community & Economic Development, supports the development, redevelopment, and revitalization of Brownfield and Greenfield sites. It provides credit enhancement through guarantees to issuers of bonds or other indebtedness, improving market access and reducing capital costs for eligible TIF projects. Eligible applicants include municipal, industrial and commercial development, and redevelopment authorities; boroughs, townships, towns, counties, and home rule municipalities.
