About this program

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts provides grants to support US-based arts organizations and programs that create meaningful opportunities for artists, including exhibitions, commissions, publications, public programs, and other initiatives that advance creative practice. Applications are reviewed twice annually, with deadlines of March 1 and September 1. Eligible applicants must be US-based 501(c)(3) organizations and may not apply through fiscal sponsors; international organizations must submit a letter of inquiry first. Proposals must include an approximately three-page narrative, separate budget, IRS determination letter, and a request not exceeding 25% of the exhibition’s direct costs or the organization’s annual operating budget.
