About this program
The Eppley Foundation for Research supports advanced scientific research conducted by established Ph.D. or M.D. investigators with strong publication records, providing grants through nonprofit educational or research institutions. Research may be conducted abroad if administered by a U.S.-based institution, and proposals should explain why conventional or federal funding is not reasonably available. Applicants must submit a letter of inquiry of no more than four pages by September 15 or March 15; invited applicants submit a full proposal by October 15 or April 15. Applications require the Foundation’s form, a CV for each investigator, a budget, and two letters of reference from qualified scientists.
