The Robert R. Ruffolo Career Achievement Award in Pharmacology

The American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) offers the Robert R. Ruffolo Career Achievement Award in Pharmacology to recognize mid- to late-career scientists whose original and impactful achievements have advanced pharmacology, including drug discovery and development. The annual award includes a $2,500 honorarium, commemorative medal, and complimentary registration and travel expenses for the ASPET Annual Meeting. Candidates must be ASPET members; nominations may be submitted by members or nonmembers, and self-nominations are encouraged, subject to restrictions for current ASPET officers and Awards Committee members. Nominations are due September 21, 2026, and must include an NIH biosketch, biographical summary, representative publications, nomination letter, and statement addressing the award criteria.
