About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Thomas Fitch Rowland Prize annually to recognize outstanding papers on construction works, construction management, or construction engineering. The prize honors eligible papers published in an online ASCE journal between July and June of the year preceding the award year; the lead author receives a plaque, and coauthors receive certificates. Nominees must be authors who are ASCE or Construction Institute members in good standing at the time of nomination. Nominations, including a signed cover letter and a copy of the paper, are due November 1.
