Trainee Research Grant in Neuroradiology

About this program

The Foundation of the ASNR offers four annual Trainee Research Grants in Neuroradiology, providing up to $5,000 each in direct costs for six-month projects running January 30–June 30, 2027. Funds may support research expenses such as biostatistics, software, scanner time, cloud computing, and laboratory or research staff costs, but exclude indirect costs and trainee or mentor salary. Applicants must be ASNR members who are senior diagnostic radiology residents, neuroradiology fellows or recent fellows, or eligible neuroimaging postdoctoral researchers in North American radiology departments, and the project must be conducted during neuroradiology training. Proposals require a testable hypothesis, an ASNR senior-member mentor, institutional support, required letters, and submission by October 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. CT.
