Transatlantic Research Partnership

About this program

The Albertine Foundation’s Transatlantic Research Partnership provides up to $20,000 over two years for collaborative research jointly led by scholars affiliated with U.S. and French research institutions, supporting mobility, research expenses, and dissemination. Proposals should foster long-term transnational collaboration, involve Ph.D. candidates, and preferably address interdisciplinary research aligned with one or more UN Sustainable Development Goals. Applicants must apply as vice-PIs, hold Ph.D.s by the deadline, have no more than eight years of post-Ph.D. research experience, and maintain contracts covering the grant period; nationality restrictions do not apply. Applications, including a joint proposal, budget, CVs, and institutional letters of intent, are due March 8, 2026.
