Travel Assistance Fund for Underrepresented Philosophers

About this program

The American Philosophical Association’s Travel Assistance Fund for Underrepresented Philosophers provides reimbursement-based travel subsidies of up to $500 per person per fiscal year for participation in APA divisional meetings and other APA-sponsored conferences. Applicants must be current APA members, identify as underrepresented philosophers, and be listed on the meeting program as a speaker, chair, commentator, or other participant. Applicants cannot receive support from other sources for the same meeting, must submit receipts for eligible expenses, and apply between six and two months before the meeting.
