Tuition Support for Academics

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s Committee on Psychoanalysis & the Academy offers tuition-only support for academics attending psychoanalytic training seminars at APsA-approved institutes. Eligible applicants include graduate students, independent scholars, and arts and sciences faculty, excluding those in medicine, psychology, and social work; preference is given to first-time applicants and those pursuing clinical training. Applicants must submit a 1–2-page statement describing their background, financial need, and purpose; a CV; tuition documentation; and a support letter from the institute director or dean. Applications are due September 30 for the fall cycle.
