T.Y. Lin Award

About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the T.Y. Lin Award to recognize a meaningful paper on prestressed concrete, with the lead author receiving a plaque and honorarium and coauthors receiving certificates. Eligible papers must be written or co-authored by members of ASCE, ACI, PCI, or PTI and published between July and June of the year preceding the award; preference is given to younger authors. Nominations are due November 1 and must include a signed cover letter, a copy of the paper, and a completed contributing-authors list submitted through ASCE’s nomination form.
