About this program
VentureWell, in partnership with NOAA, offers the Ocean Enterprise Accelerator to support U.S. innovators and early-stage ventures developing ocean data technologies and services for the blue economy. The optional Stage 0 program provides three virtual workshops on commercialization, venture development, and funding pathways; Stage 1, currently closed, includes intensive coaching and a $15,000 Technology Development and Commercialization award. Applicants must be innovators or startups based or incorporated in the United States and should address marine or coastal sectors such as coastal management, marine carbon, water quality, aquaculture, shipping, or ports. Stage 0 applications are due August 25, 2026, and prior participation is not required for more advanced applicants seeking future Stage 1 cycles.
