VESS Early Career Investigator Award 2027

About this program

The Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society (VESS) offers one $22,500 Early Career Investigator Award for basic, translational, educational, clinical, or health outcomes research designed to help emerging vascular surgery investigators generate preliminary work for future extramural funding. Research must be completed within 12 months, and funds may support direct research costs, with travel limited to $1,000 and no salary, benefits, or indirect costs permitted. Applicants must be VESS members in good standing and either full-time vascular surgery faculty within five years of completing training or senior vascular surgery trainees (second-year fellows or fifth-year residents) with an academic appointment secured after graduation.
