VESS Resident Research Award – Health Services Research (HSR) – 2027

About this program

The Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Society (VESS) offers one $20,000 Resident Research Award in Health Services Research to support vascular surgery residents conducting projects during protected academic development time and preparing for future extramural funding. Research must be completed within 12 months, followed by a report and presentation at the VESS Annual Winter Meeting. Applicants must be trainees in an accredited general or integrated vascular surgery residency and identify a VESS Active Member as mentor, sponsor, or collaborator, with documented dedicated research time. Applications are due October 1, 2026, and applicants may not hold similar resident research funding from another society.
