VESS Travel Award – 2027

About this program

The Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society (VESS) offers a 2027 Travel Award of up to $5,000 to support visits to one or more vascular surgery centers of excellence, promoting academic inspiration, professional exchange, and career development rather than specific research. Applicants must be active VESS members within their first 10 years after vascular surgery training, committed to an academic career, and hold an academic appointment at a medical school or qualifying freestanding clinic. Applications require a current CV, a two-page essay and travel plan, a recommendation letter, and preferably a support letter from the host institution; materials are due September 2, 2026.
