Veterans’ Fund Indigenous Scholarships

About this program

The American Australian Association’s Veterans’ Fund Indigenous Scholarships provide up to USD $40,000 for travel, tuition, living, and related educational expenses for Indigenous military veterans pursuing at least one year of full-time undergraduate or graduate study in the other country. Undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral study in any discipline is eligible, and preference is given to post-9/11 veterans. Applicants must be honorably discharged U.S. or Australian veterans, citizens or permanent residents of their home country, and recognized members of an eligible Indigenous community; applications for the USA-to-Australia program are open August 1–September 30.
