Veterans’ Fund Undergraduate Scholarships

About this program

The American Australian Association’s Veterans’ Fund Undergraduate Scholarships supports honorably discharged American and Australian military veterans pursuing at least one year of full-time undergraduate study in the other country, with awards of up to USD $40,000 for tuition, travel, living, and related educational expenses. Preference is given to post-9/11 veterans, although veterans of all service histories may apply, and applicants need not yet have admission to an accredited institution but must be actively seeking placement. Applicants must hold citizenship or permanent residency in their home country, provide military discharge documentation and other required materials, and submit three recommendation letters; USA-to-Australia applications are open August 1–September 30.
