Victoria Mock New Investigator Award

The Oncology Nursing Society, through the Oncology Nursing Foundation’s Distinguished Nurse Researcher Fund, offers the Victoria Mock New Investigator Award to recognize emerging investigators who advance the scientific foundation of oncology nursing practice. The award includes a $1,000 cash prize, desktop award, and support to attend and present research at ONS Congress, including airfare, one hotel night, and a meal per diem. Nominees must be nurses with active ONS membership, nominated by an ONS member, and have completed a PhD or equivalent research degree at least one year but no more than 10 years earlier. Applications require a current CV, two nomination letters from nurse scientists, a 350-word abstract, and a personal statement of up to 500 words; nominations are due September 30 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
