VIPC Regional Innovation Fund for Entrepreneur Support Organizations

About this program

The Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation’s Regional Innovation Fund provides competitive grants of up to $200,000 for 12 months to Virginia entrepreneur support organizations (ESOs) serving science- and technology-based startups and founders. Funding may support operating and programmatic costs, but not startup investments or sub-grants. Eligible applicants must be headquartered in or have a significant presence in Virginia, demonstrate a record of supporting Virginia-based startups, meet specified GO Virginia or VIPC collaboration criteria, and provide a 1:1 match from eligible non-state sources. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis and should demonstrate innovative, collaborative programming, support for underrepresented founders, measurable outcomes, and financial sustainability.
