W. H. Mason III Preparators’ Grant

About this program

The Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences (AAPS) offers the William H. Mason III Preparators’ Grant, providing up to $1,000 for supplies, equipment, or tools needed to prepare fossil or meteorite specimens for public museum display or permanent research collections. Academic and commercial preparators may apply, and AAPS membership is not required. Applications must describe the specimen and project, identify the preparator and permanent host institution, itemize requested costs, and include a résumé or CV and applicant photo; submissions are due by November 1 for consideration in the following calendar year. International applicants must have a personal bank account able to receive U.S. wire transfers.
