WES Early Career Investigator Awards 2027

About this program

The World Endometriosis Society (WES) will award six CAD 20,000 Early Career Investigator Awards for 12-month catalyst projects focused on endometriosis or adenomyosis: two each for clinicians/allied health professionals, basic scientists, and social scientists. Funds support direct research costs but exclude salaries, equipment, and institutional overhead; up to CAD 2,500 each may be allocated to conference travel and open-access publication. Applicants must be WES members and meet the applicable early-career definition—within six years of independent practice for clinicians or within ten years of PhD/equivalent training for basic and social scientists—with a supervisor/mentor required for researchers lacking an independent faculty position. Applications are due September 30, 2026, and must include summaries, a 1,500-word proposal, budget, biosketch, and supporting documentation.
