About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers’ Environmental and Water Resources Institute offers the Wesley W. Horner Award for papers making valuable contributions to environmental engineering in hydrology, urban drainage, or sewerage. The award includes a plaque for the lead author, certificates for coauthors, and an honorarium determined annually. Eligible papers must have appeared in an online ASCE journal between July and June of the year preceding the award year; ASCE membership is not required, and preference is given to authors in private engineering practice. Nominations, due October 1, must include a signed cover letter, a copy of the paper, and a completed contributing-authors list.
