About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the William H. Wisely American Civil Engineer Award to recognize up to three individuals whose sustained efforts have advanced the Society’s history, traditions, developments, and technical and professional activities. Recipients receive a trophy and an honorarium determined annually by ASCE’s Executive Committee. Nominees must be ASCE members in good standing and must be nominated by November 1 with a signed cover letter, CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters, including one from their ASCE section or branch president.
