William R. Waters Research Grant

About this program

The Association for Social Economics offers the William R. Waters Research Grant to support promising research in social economics and social economy, with awards of up to $5,000 annually. Applications are open to Ph.D. students who have not completed their dissertations, postdoctoral scholars, and early-career faculty who are not yet tenured or have not reached associate professor rank or equivalent. Calls are issued each fall, with applications typically due around November 1; recipients must submit a brief progress report by September 15 of the award year.
