Wyeth Foundation for American Art Publication Grant

About this program

The College Art Association, through the Wyeth Foundation for American Art, provides publication grants for book-length scholarly works on the art of the United States, Canada, and Mexico, including substantially researched museum exhibition or collection catalogs. Applications are limited to manuscripts under contract with publishers that are institutional CAA members, with priority given to projects of high scholarly merit, innovative research, underserved constituencies, early-career scholars, and works facing limited markets or unusually high production costs. Publishers must submit the application, including a cover letter and budget, partial manuscript, at least two substantive peer reviews, the author’s CV, a project description, and the author’s response to reviews; deadlines are March 15 and September 15.
