About this program

The Wyeth Foundation for American Art, administered by the College Art Association (CAA), provides publication grants to support book-length scholarly manuscripts on American art, visual studies, and related subjects. “American art” encompasses art created in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and grants subsidize publication in a desirable form when a publisher has accepted the manuscript but cannot otherwise support that format. Eligible applicants must have a publisher’s acceptance based on the manuscript’s scholarly merit; applications are due March 15 or September 15 annually.
