About this program
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) offers the Exobiology: Planetary Conditions for Life fellowship to support research on the galactic and planetary conditions that foster the origin of life, including habitable planet formation, organic molecule synthesis, and prebiotic environments. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, eligible foreign nationals (J-1 visa), or individuals with valid EAD cards and pending I-485 or I-589 forms. Selected fellows are expected to attend the Astrobiology Graduate Conference (AbGradCon) and/or the Astrobiology Science Conference (AbSciCon) using provided travel funds.
