About this program
Grain Farmers of Ontario is offering the 2026 Grains Innovation Fund to support project-based development and commercialization of new or reformulated products and processes that expand end-use markets for Ontario barley, corn, oat, soybeans, wheat and associated crop residues. Eligible projects can be reimbursed for 60% of costs to a maximum of $75,000 and the program provides criteria, innovation themes, eligible cost lists, evaluation criteria, webinar recordings and spotlight projects. Applicants must be companies with projects that drive growth and market opportunities for Ontario grains and are encouraged to contact Grain Farmers of Ontario at marketdev@gfo.ca to discuss project fit.
