AAAA Awards

About this program

The Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) administers the AAAA Awards to recognize and honor Army Aviation Soldiers, units, Department of the Army civilians, and industry contributors with non-monetary recognition (plaques/trophies) and underwritten attendance at presentation ceremonies across multiple national, functional, chapter, and honorary categories. Any person may submit a nomination for eligible U.S. Army Aviation Soldiers, units, DA civilians, or industry individuals/organizations; nominators need not be AAAA members, but where Chapters/Regions hold local competitions nominations should be routed locally and only local winners forwarded to the National Office, otherwise submit directly to AAAA (nominations open roughly three months before deadlines). Completed nomination packets must include the AAAA nomination form, a ≤250-word summary, a ≤1,500-word support document, required biographical information and head-and-shoulder photos (materials are not returned); completed packets are scored by the AAAA Awards Board, cleared by Army sources, and winners are approved by the National Executive Board.
