About this program
The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) Foundation funds scientifically rigorous basic and translational research advancing allergy knowledge and improving patient care in otolaryngic conditions. Research proposals are reviewed twice annually, with deadlines of June 1 and December 1. Investigators from any background may apply, provided projects align with the Foundation’s otolaryngic allergy research scope and meet the application guidelines. Awardees must present results at an AAOA meeting and submit the resulting manuscript to the International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology.
